Write for us
We welcome thoughtful pitches about choosing films, viewing habits, genres, film history and the small decisions that shape a good movie night. Proposals should offer readers a clear idea to carry into their next choice or watch.
What makes a strong pitch
Tell us the central question, the reader it is for and what the piece will help them notice or decide. A focused comparison, a useful viewing plan or a fresh explanation of a film tradition is more compelling than a broad promise to cover cinema.
Keep it grounded
We favour specific, evergreen subjects that do not depend on unsupported claims, private access or first-hand testing. Please distinguish personal interpretation from verifiable detail, and explain any specialist terms in ordinary language.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page, choosing the editorial question option and including a working title, a short outline and a note about your approach. A pitch is a proposal, not a guarantee of publication.
Choose with care; watch with attention
A good film night begins before the opening scene. We help you find a fitting choice, then leave space to notice what stays with you.
